I am bringing you back to 1992. I was just a freshman at West Virginia University when a new Disney movie came out. Aladdin talked about new worlds, and new experiences. Yes, I am talking about the one and only Aladdin. I was chosen to be a part of a special screening at Macaroni Kid Meet Up in Fort Lauderdale. As always, my opinions are my own.
This edition is in Blu-Ray. You know that Blu-Ray is the best way to see movies! The story is the same. Aladdin a rift raft accidentally meets the beautiful Princess Jasmine. Aladdin has an opportunity to rub a genie bottle. Where he is introduced to the late amazing Robin Williams. (He was born to play this part). Hilarity and High Jinx are with the story.
In every Disney movie, there is a lesson. In Aladdin, one of the lessons is lying hurts more. Also, what you think of yourself as a person, is more important that your financial wealth. Finally, you need to be to true to yourself!
The best part of the new Blu-Ray is the never-before-seen Bonus! SHHH I am not going to spoil the surprise.
At the screening there was a special surprise to our Publisher children. Aladdin, Jasmine, and Abu made a special appearance.
The Diamond Edition of Aladdin is available on Disney Movies Anywhere and Digital HD on September 29th and in the Blu-Ray Combo Pack on October 13th.
