Every Kid in a Park Program

By Beth Sloss - Macaroni Kid Tuscaloosa February 5, 2016
Every Kid in a Park is geared toward introducing America's youth and their guests to federal public lands and waters. This national program seeks to connect four million fourth graders with our country's treasured places in the 2015-16 academic year, coinciding with the National Park Service Centennial celebration.

Every Kid in a Park is as simple as 1, 2, 3!
1. Get Your Pass - Registration is open on the website if a) you are a 4th grader or homeschool equivalent, b) an educator of a 4th grader, homeschool equivalent, after school leader, or religious group leader.

2. Plan your trip! It's best to make this a family activity. *This pass is valid for any national park in the United States.

3. Take the trip and have fun!  Don't forget to bring your pass.  The paper copy will be traded in at your first park visit for a waterproof plastic pass.  Passes are non-transferable.  Each individual pass will have a specific code for each child issued.  The passes are valid for the child and carload of individuals accompanying them.

What to bring?
