May 1st marked the start of National Water Safety Month - a very special month for Atlanta’s newest swim school, British Swim School. Drowning is a leading cause of death among one to four-year-old children, claiming an average of 3,500 lives each year in the United States. British Swim School believes these deaths are largely preventable and serves Atlanta families by teaching water safety and survival skills as the foundation of their swim programs. Just in time for National Water Safety Month this May, British Swim School opens their first of many Atlanta locations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center located at 1030 Crown Pointe Parkway. To celebrate launching in the Atlanta market as well as honoring National Water Safety Month, British Swim School will host “SPLASH-A-PALOOZA” every Wednesday throughout the month of May.
Held every Wednesday morning from 930 a.m. to 1030 a.m. weekly this May, “SPLASH-A-PALOOZA” is a fun and interactive experience for parents with small children in the Perimeter Atlanta area to learn about water safety while enjoying splashing around in the warm water at the hotel’s beautiful heated indoor pool. British Swim School’s Aquatics Director, Carmen Finocchio and team will host a presentation on water survival and safety as well as offer in-water learning time and swim assessments.
