Medieval Times

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) “Celebrate America" at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park 
Saturday, June 28th at  8pm
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will perform “Celebrate America" at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. ASO Assistant Conductor Joseph Young will lead the Orchestra in a program of patriotic favorites, including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Anderson’s Bugler’s Holiday, Gershwin’s Summertime, and other musical selections celebrating America.
Fee: $20 General Admission

Dunwoody United Methodist Church ~ Celebrate America June 29th at 4pm
Dunwoody United Methodist Church will kick off the Fourth of July holiday week with our “Celebrate America” concert beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The Dunwoody UMC Chancel Choir and orchestra will perform Howard Hanson’s “Song of Democracy”, based on a poem of Walt Whitman, and such classics as “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “Salute to the Armed Forces.”  Recent DUMC Concert Series favorite, pianist Thomas Pandolfi will join with the orchestra in the American classic Rhapsody in Blue and other Patriotic works. This is the signature event that begins Dunwoody’s Fourth of July Celebration.

Festivities include a Dance Contest, Food Vendors and Children Activities from 6 – 11 PM
Fireworks start at 9:30 PM

Lenox Square: Let Freedom Ring July 4 at 10am 
Preparations are way under for one of the city’s favorite summer traditions – Legendary Fourth of July at Lenox Square. For over half a century, Lenox Square has celebrated red, white and blue in grand tradition with activities for the entire family. This year’s activities will include the largest fireworks display in the Southeast, musical entertainment and food concessions. For the second year, Lenox Square will host its talent search, 'Atlanta's Next Legend,' where the crowned winner will perform in front of crowds filled with family and friends. Everyone is invited to experience Atlanta’s time-honored tradition and celebrate as Lenox Square lights up the sky on the Fourth of July!

4th of July Parade: Marietta at 10am
The city of Marietta's Fourth in the Park celebration includes a parade, free live concerts, museum tours, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.
The end of the parade marks the start of the Festival. Food concessions, arts and crafts and carnival will provide plenty to do for the whole family.

July 4 Steam Engine Parade  Cumming at 10am
The mayor and his council lead the parade, followed by a representation of our veterans in Forsyth County.
Being a holiday that celebrates our freedom we feel that our local soldiers and veterans are a key part of the parade.
Next in the line up comes the Steam Engines.  These are magnificent machines that represent a historical era of agriculture and farming.  The Steam Engine Association proudly displays their antique engines every 4th of July to carry on the tradition Thomas began over fifty years ago.

4th of July Celebration at the Children's Museum of Atlanta 12pm, 2pm
Join your Imaginators for a fun filled fire worked Fourth of July Extravaganza. Make your own flag to wave in our Fourth of July Parade led by Jerry G. and his drums. After the parade, salute our country by singing a roaring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner followed by You’re a Grand Ole Flag.The program will conclude with a special indoor Imagination fireworks display that involves your feet and bubble wrap.
Fee $12.75 per person

Mall of Georgia’s 12th annual Fabulous Fourth at 5pm
Local Families Invited to Celebrate Stars and Stripes with 70-foot Big Screen Movie and the Grandest Fireworks Display in Gwinnett!
Let freedom ring! Mall of Georgia’s 12th annual Fabulous Fourth event is set to return with a star-spangled bang! The mall’s Independence Day bash will offer bursts of patriotic fun for the entire family, including children’s rides and inflatables, live music, food and beverage concessions, a special Movies Under The Stars presentation of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on a 70-foot big screen and – of course – the largest fireworks display in the county!

July 4th Fireworks at Wills Park  at 530pm
Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at Wills Park.  Musical entertainment by the Alpharetta City Band and local band Serious Business will follow.  Children's inflatables will be on the lawn from 6pm to 9pm.  There will be a nominal fee for inflatables.  Food vendors will be located throughout Wills Park from 6pm to 9pm, or bring your own picnic.  Our spectacular fireworks show wll begin at dusk.

Georgia Aquarium:  Red White & Brew, A July 4th Beer Fest at 7pm
This Fourth of July, celebrate with awesome beer, food, live music and fun! Red White & Brew, which benefits Georgia Aquarium's education initiatives, will be hosted in Oceans Ballroom and on the Aquarium's parking deck rooftop with the city's best views of the Centennial Olympic Park firework show. There's no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July in Atlanta. Celebrate 4th of July this year in Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom with unlimited beer sampling, live music from The Geeks, a full BBQ dinner buffet, a crazy photo booth sponsored by PGi, caricature artists and more! East Point Salutes to the Red White and Blue, Hometown Celebration East Point GA July 5 at 5pm
The summer carnival is part of the oldest and largest 4th of July Fireworks Celebration in South Fulton County. Celebrate classic carnival staples and of course the amazing thrill rides that make Georgia summer festivals and fall carnivals so much fun! Don't miss one of the best fireworks shows in Atlanta. Bring the family down to ride to the top of the Ferris wheel, take a spin on the carousel and bite into a mustard-covered corndog at one of the oldest and largest South Fulton County celebrations. When the exploding blossoms of reds, golds, blues and greens fire into the sky above East Point all eyes are on the heavens and hearts thump to a synchronized musical score.

Sandy Springs Community Fireworks Display July 5 at 730pm
Fireworks will illuminate the skies above the King and Queen buildings in Sandy Springs as the community comes together in celebration of our nation’s independence. Music from the band, Shiloh, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will dazzle the skies beginning at 9:45 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to pack a snack, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars. Water stations will be located throughout the Concourse lawn. Pets, tents, outdoor cooking and personal-use sparklers will not be permitted.

Callaway Gardens is eagerly anticipating the Fourth of July!  Come join us for a great day filled with a ton of fun in the sun and a spectacular fireworks show.  Bring the entire family and enjoy a myriad of beach activities throughout the weekend.        To visit for just July 4th, Special Event admission is $25/adult; $20/senior 65+; $12.50/child age 6-12; children 5 and younger are admitted for free.

July 4th Festival at Six Flags over Georgia July 4-6
This Independence Day weekend on July 4 – 6, all guests who bring a Coca-Cola™ can to the park can enter an hour before the park opens. Many of our most popular rides will be open before the rest of the park, including Goliath, BATMAN: The Ride, Dare Devil Dive, Mind Bender and Gotham City Crime Wave. The early admittance hours for these days are as follows: July 4: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., July 5: 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and July 6: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
