The Sandy Springs Festival returns this September to the heart of Sandy Springs for two days of fine art, live music, cultural performances, a pet parade, classic rides, children’s activities, gourmet and festival food options, and much more! Now in its 29th year, the Sandy Springs Festival is the largest fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, the nonprofit organization that saved the original “sandy springs” and presents a full calendar of educational programs and cultural events to the community each year.
Every fall, thousands of Sandy Springs residents and visitors gather at Heritage Green for the community’s largest and most popular event. Attendees enjoy strolling through row upon row of over 150 artists' booths displaying original work in a variety of media including painting, pottery, jewelry, photography and more. The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn and Stage offers great live music, dancing and entertainment throughout the weekend. Sports enthusiasts can compete to qualify for the Peachtree Road Race in the fast-paced Sandy Springs Lightning 10K and 5K on Saturday morning, the official kick-off to the Festival.
Children will delight in their special areas – with fun activities like face painting, crafts, inflatables, and classic rides. The Teen Territory features more adventurous activities for the very brave such as the bungee jump and rock climbing wall. Pet lovers will be excited to see the annual Kiwanis Pet Parade on Saturday morning, a Festival tradition, and to know that the Sandy Springs Festival is completely pet-friendly! ArtSS returns with the 3rd annual Chalk Walk Competition for teens and adults and offering cash prizes for award winners!
The Sandy Springs Festival will be held Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21. Admission is $5 for Adults, $2 for Youth, and Free for Children 5 and under and Heritage Sandy Springs Members. For more information, visit HERE.
