I recently tried a new restaurant Pita by the Beirut. I was given lunch in exchange for my review. All my opinions are my own though.
The restaurant opened first thing in January. They are located at 4709-B Ashford Dunwoody Rd (in the Walmart shopping Center). They can be reached at 770.392.7070.
You walk in and are welcomed by staff. The restaurant style is industrial. What I like the most is that you can see the cooks are actually cooking and preparing your food in front of you.
I was told I had to try the Mezza Trio. It has Hummus (chick peas tahini garlic and lemon juice.) It tasted better than perfection. You can really taste the lemon and garlic. Pita by Beirut is not afraid of flavor.
Next in the Mezza Trio was Labenee (Homemade Greek Yogurt Dip, Zahtar Spice). This is the best seller for women. It has to be for the delicious Greek Yogurt loaded with Protein.
Finally the last thing in the Mezza Trio was my favorite by far the Baba Ghanoush (fire roasted eggplant, tahini, garlic, lemon juice). You can really taste the smokiness. I love Baba Ghanoush. This was the best by far I have tasted.
I was also given the Chicken Shawarma.It has Chicken, Shawarma, Lettuce Tomato, Onion, pickles, Garlic spread, and tahini. You really taste the different flavors and seasonings. Pita by the Beirut only uses the freshest ingredients, and it shows. Get a fork. You don’t want to not get the bits that fall out.
There is a Gluten Free option. And everything is customizable. Don’t even want the extra carbs? Pita by the Beirut also has salads.
There is a kid’s menu. Chicken Tenders, Chicken Gyro, Kid’s Gyro, and Cheese Pita (Grilled Cheese).
Every Monday, Pita by the Beirut has $5 Gyro Pita Monday. All Pitas $5. On Wednesdays they have Veggie Wednesday. Same deal $5 for the Veggie and Falafel platter. The special is all day long dine in or take out.
Pita by the Beirut also offers catering. Prices start at $9 per person. Think birthday parties, PTA luncheons, or just a girl’s night in.
Pita by the Beirut really wants you to get the most enjoyable experience. I witnessed a staff member tell a customer to shake it up to get the best taste. Pita by the Beirut also brings the food to you. They want you to be their guest when you are here.
It is also a great place to come and work. There is FREE wifi here.
Pita by the Beirut will start delivering in about a month.
