People love donuts and just about every culture has some form of donut that they share with family and friends at meals and special occasions. Da Vinci’s Donutsisthrilledto have expanded in Sandy Springs after a successful launch last year in Alpharetta.Da Vinci’s owner, Melissa Rudd, shares, “We really had no idea that the response would be so incredible and honestly the thought of opening a second store never crossed my mind at the outset. We are so excited to be part of the incredible Sandy Springs community”.
Melissa, a self-taught cook, has fond memories of making donuts with her mom and decided to carry-on that tradition with her own children. Several years ago her husband, a corporate attorney, was laid off from his job and the couple decided it was time to go into business for themselves. Combining her creative side with her Italian heritage and absolute love of donuts, they created Da Vinci’s Donuts  and the response has been huge. Da Vinci's Donuts_Donut (2)
Da Vinci’s won the Appen Media “Best Donut in North Fulton and South Forsyth” award in 2014 and they continue to gain new fans every day.
These days you will find Melissa, Andy and often their two boys, ages 11 and 15, working atthetwo shops. You can see that they really love the customers and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome in the store. “No one ever leaves without a smile on their face. To us, that’s what makes every day worth it”.

DaVinci's is a unique and creative take on donuts and the typical donut cafe. You can choose from their inspired flavors, like salted caramel, maple bacon, or dulce de leche or use your creativity to customize your own masterpiece. With their modest size donut yet abundant toppings, you can enjoy your treat with higher satisfaction and less guilt than traditional donuts. Pairing it with a locally roasted cup of coffee, or a gourmet cup of tea completes the experience.

If you haven’t been to either location yet, it is truly a unique and creative outing. There is a giant chalkboard wall that visitors from near and far leave notes on and many children spend a lot of time there leavingsomevery special artwork behind for all to see. DaVinci’s also has a local featured artist of the month whichisa great touch and adds to the sense of family and community when you visit.

“We strive to provide a unique, artistic environment that gets you in touch with your creative side. Our donuts are perfect to enjoy anytime with family, friends or with co-workers. We can also accommodate large orders for your office and our unique donuts will make your next special occasion extra special”, shares Melissa.
