Celebrate the Fourth

The Fourth of July is fast approaching and there a many different displays out there in the Atlanta area.

There are many choices out there for you who love fireworks. Here is a brief listing of some of the choices you have.

July 4th Festivities and FireworksAlpharetta 
Wills Park on Wednesday, July 4, 2012! The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department will provide two free "inflatables" for children to play and jump on from 5pm to 8pm on the lawn behind the Alpharetta Community Center. Bands start at 6PM and fireworks display begins at dusk! FREE

Centennial Olympic Park 2013 4th of July CelebrationAtlanta
Celebration with a night of fun and entertainment for the entire family,
including downtown Atlanta’s best fireworks display. Park gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at approximately 9:40 p.m. FREE MARTA is STRONGLY suggested.

Legendary Fourth of JulyBuckhead
Lenox Square's annual event is patriotic fun with family-friendly live musical entertainment on the mall’s outdoor main stage. Culminating the evening will be the signature fireworks display, featuring thousands of fireworks bursting in air for approximately 20 minutes, accompanied by a patriotic musical soundtrack. Musical entertainment from Sons of Sailors and Party on the Moon begins at 6 p.m. • Fireworks scheduled to begin at approximately 9:35 p.m FREE

Fabulous Fourth of July - Mall of Georgia - Buford
Beginning at 2:00 pm with prizes, music, fireworks and a movie. Parking NOT allowed in Nordstrom lot. FREE

Chamblee Fourth of July CelebrationChamblee
This event is full of fun for the entire family. There will be live music, food and activities for the family. Keswick Park Soccer Field. Thursday, July 4 5-10 p.m. FREE

Fourth of July City of DecaturDecatur
Pied Piper Parade begins at 6 p.m. It ends at the Community Bandstand on the square with a presentation of colors and the Star Spangled Banner. YOU can even join in (line up at 5:30PM) Bands and fireworks at dusk. FREE

Dunwoody Fourth of July ParadeDunwoody
Marching bands, floats, mascots and more. Pararde route is from Mount Vernon Rd to Dunwoody Village. Join the Dunwoody community after the 4th of July Parade in Dunwoody Village for family fun and great food. July 4th 9AM FREE

Sparkle in the ParkLilburn
This annual event will include music, food, and of course, fireworks! A1A, Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, will bring their high-energy, colorful, family-friendly concert to Lilburn City Park. Kids’ activities and air-conditioned shuttles are provided. Concessions will be available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

4th of July Ice Cream SocialMcDonough
Celebrate the 4th of July while enjoying a refreshing ice cream and socializing with the McDonough community. Downtown McDonough Square, McDonough, GA 30253 July 4th 7PM FREE

HENRY COUNTY FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZAStockbridge
The City of Stockbridge, as a proud sponsor, invites you to this year's festivities. Include live music, car, motorcycle, tractor, and truck show, kids play area, inflatables, hayrides, zipline, festival foods, a bingo tournament, raffle with cash prizes, a saloon for the purchase of beer and wine, and an incredible fireworks display beginning around 9:30 PM! Stone Mountain Fantastic Fourth Celebration -Stone Mountain
Memorial lawn at Stone Mountain Park. Special fireworks display is following the Lasershow Spectacular. July 4-6th at 9:30PM. Show is FREE but parking is $10 (FREE for pass holders). Arrive early for park will CLOSE once capacity is reached.

All-American Fireworks Spectacular Atlanta Braves -Atlanta Turner Field
Tuesday, July 3, fans will be dazzled with the first of two spectacular fireworks-filled evenings immediately following the Braves and Cubs matchup. Wednesday, July 4th, holiday festivities will continue throughout Turner Field with pregame ceremonies honoring our nation’s birthday, special on-field presentations and the finale of fireworks displays. Tickets starting as low as $6.

4th of July Celebration! Imagine It! - Children's Musuem of Atlanta
Fourth of July Extravaganza. Visitors can make an American flag to wave in our Fourth of July Parade. Children can decorate sunglasses and water bottle holders that can be carried across the street to Centennial Olympic Park. Take part in a special indoor imagination fireworks display! July 4th, 2013 2:00 PM Free with general admission, free for members, $12.75 Adults & Children 2 and up.

Red White & Brew, A July 4th Beer FestAtlanta GA Aquarium
Georgia Aquarium Oceans Ballroom and parking deck rooftop. Sample an unlimited amount of beer and enjoy classic 4th of July fare at the coolest location in the city to view the Centennial Olympic Park firework show. We’ll have live music, a photo booth, and other fun surprises! Tickets: $55 (+tax) until July 2nd. This event is for ages 21 and up only. No refunds as this is a rain or shine event.

Atlanta families have access to the city’s BEST VIEW of the Centennial Olympic Park Firework show from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are only $15 for kids and $20 for Adults and Seniors (plus tax). Your ticket includes access to our prime firework viewing area, fun activities for kids, summertime treats and desserts and beverages for all. Get your tickets early as a very limited amount of tickets are available. Last year tickets sold out!
