Review: Poketti

By Diana and S Cole, Publisher and Daughter of Sandy Springs Dunwoody Macaroni Kid November 7, 2014
This was one of the items, that I received at Macaroni Kid Meet Up, that I knew my girls (9 and 6) would go absolutely nuts for.   I was so right.  My opinions are my own.

Poketti was inspired by my 7th grade team entrepreneurial project at The Girls' Middle School in Palo Alto, California. During the course, we learned to write a business plan, design, manufacture and sell a product. I enjoyed the process so much, I convinced my family to turn my design into a real company: cute and functional animal pillows with a useful back pocket to hold a cell phone, notebook, glasses, tooth fairy goodies or other small things you might need to store safely.”

“We raised $20,000 on Kickstarter for manufacturing, and are now selling our first series of professionally hand-sewn products: Poketti™ Plushies with a Pocket. Series1 includes Sydney the Penguin (because I'm obsessed with penguins), Toni the Bunny (my sister Toni loves bunnies), Baxter the Puppy and Roxi the Kitty.

Poketti Plushies with a Pocket are made with the finest quality, super soft plush and contrasting 100% cotton detail fabric — each with a 4x5" plush-lined cotton pocket in the back. We also have a 40-page color "Pocket Full of Dreams" notebook that fits in the pocket, stickers and activity cards featuring each character.”
Their commercial is VERY creative check it out HERE.

The Poketti's are absolutely adorable.  My girls are obsessed with cats.  They have their own kitty language.   When I saw Roxi, I knew I had to get it.   They were so excited to receive one.  I had no idea who was going to receive it.   I love how the girls can put their small treasures in it.  They also can use it as pillows.     I actually wound up getting a second one, because that is how much they loved Roxi.  I also love how it a school project that now is a business.  It teaches kids, that your wildest dreams can come true!
