Pineapple Angel Food Cake

Moist, Sweet, Light, & Easy

By Christel M. Hoydic June 9, 2016
I haven't stopped raving about this cake since the first time I tasted it. Pineapple Angel Food Cake is both cheap and easy to make. All you need is these 2 simple ingredients:
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple
  • 1 box of angel food cake mix

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the angel food cake mix and the crushed pineapple with all it's juice. Do NOT add anything else. The batter will get frothy. It almost looks wrong but, it is not! There really is no messing this up. That's it! Your batter is ready.
  3. Lightly grease a cake pan, and then pour the batter in.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes until the top begins to brown.

Enjoy hot, or cooled. Add a little whipped cream for an added delight.

*  This is only 1 point for those who follow the weight watchers diet!
*  The other great thing about this dessert is you can you easily pick up these ingredients and store them in the cabinet until the moment arrives.
