Review TORUK – The First Flight at Infinite Energy Arena

Till June 19

By Diana Cole, Sandy Springs Dunwoody Macaroni Kid June 16, 2016
TORUK – The First Flight, inspired by James Cameron’s AVATAR, a live experience by Cirque du Soleil®, envisions a world beyond imagination set thousands of years before the events depicted in the film. The word Toruk, in the Na’vi language, refers to the great leonopteryx, the mighty red and orange predator that rules the Pandoran sky. Central in Na’vi lore and culture, this fascinating creature is crucial to the Na’vi clans’ sense of destiny and interconnectedness – and is about to be ridden for the very first time by a Na’vi.
I was given complimentary tickets to see TORUK – The First Flight at Infinite Energy Arena on Wednesday night and I was not disappointed.
If you are a fan of James Cameron’s AVATAR, you will not be disappointed.   If you’re not a fan of James Cameron’s AVATAR, you will not be disappointed. It was absolutely amazing how the sets changed from a desert to an ocean in a blink of an eye.   I was amazed at the brilliance of the costumes and creatures that were surrounding us.
There was also an app you can download called Toruk on Google Play or iTunes.  It allows you to interact with the show.   It also allows you to explore the Pandora.  You can discover different moon Pandora and unearth artifacts to piece together the identities of five ancient clans.
TORUK – The First Flight will be presented at the Infinite Energy Arena on June 15-19, 2016. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Tickets range from $34.50 – $125
