Mac Mama's Favorite Banana Bread

By Nicole Donnelly, MK Annapolis July 6, 2017

One of my favorite ways to use overripe bananas is to make banana bread! Check out my favorite recipe below.

Tip: The best bananas for this recipe will be at least halfway browned and the banana itself should be squishy!

Ingredients:
3 overripe, peeled bananas
1/3 c melted butter
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 c sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c flour
Walnuts, optional

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Add all the other ingredients to the same bowl, mixing each ingredient in before adding the next. Pour into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle with walnuts (optional). Bake at 350 for 50 min - 1 hour. Let cool and enjoy!
