Planned PEThood of Georgia: Pet of the Week: Sweetie

By Planned PEThood of Georgia April 18, 2019

Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!

This is Sweetie. She is a beautiful little girl that loves to watch the dogs play outside and the birdies doing their thing. It takes awhile for her to trust anyone and other kitties. But when she does she is very loving and plays with her toys. Sweetie would be best as an only pet. She needs lots of love and extreme patience. Until she gets to know and trust a person she talks a lot and may swat, but doesn’t use claws. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone she just wants to say “hey stay back and let me have time”. Sweetie would be great for someone that has time to just be with her and show her a lot patience. Give her a pillow and a window and she is content. She shares a room with my daughter and trusts my daughter enough now to pose for pictures and lay in the bed and watch TV with her.

Sweetie is negative for FIV/FeLV, up-to-date on shots, neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee is $ 90.00.

If you would like to meet Sweetie please contact her foster, Astrid at (678) 561-3491.

He is available for adoption through Planned PEThood of Georgia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization in Duluth.
