Give Kids Summer Lunches and School Supplies!

By Community Assistance Center. April 25, 2019

Community Assistance Center Summer Program for Kids gives local children in need some basic necessities that their families struggle to provide.

Just $40 provides a child with:
15 lunches for 3 weeks
or
a new backpack filled with school supplies
You can give a child both for $80!

Give Summer Lunches!

Community Assistance Center's Summer Lunch Bag program helps families that have difficulty meeting food needs in the summer when children are home and not receiving free meals at school. Each lunch bag contains 5 easy to prepare lunches. With your support, we are providing 3,000 lunch bags, or 15,000 lunches, to children in need.  More than 600 children are receiving 4 or more lunch bags each.

Give Tools for School!

Let’s empower students throughout our community! Community Assistance Center is dedicated to ensuring that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies to local kids most in need.

Children of families that struggle financially often go to school without the necessary tools to learn. Studies show that when kids have school supplies of their own, classroom behavior and grades improve, self-esteem strengthens, and kids develop better attitudes toward school and learning.

Please help the Community Assistance Center prepare 900 local children for the start of school with new backpacks and school supplies. When you donate to CAC’s Tools for School, your dollar goes further thanks to wholesale purchasing by CAC!
