A couple of weeks ago we were alarmingly low on food staples and put out a call to the community. You came through and we received thousands of pounds of food from our donors - large and small! Thank you! We could not have processed the volume without the help of General Motors volunteers as well as our amazing regular volunteers. Much of that food has already been distributed to neighbors in need. The Community Assistance Center (CAC) Food Pantry receives about 2,000 visits a month and provides food to more than 500 households a month.

Food that is donated to the Community Assistance Center (CAC) goes directly to those in need right here in our community. Your donations allow the Community Assistance Center (CAC)s Food Pantry to provide for an average of 1,200 visits a month!
Food donations are needed throughout the year to keep the pantry shelves stocked. Donations are especially needed in the summers when the shelves often go bare. Donations from individuals and group food drives are welcome. Financial contributions go even further when the Community Assistance Center (CAC) buys food in bulk.
