Daniel Tiger and his friends from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe know the importance of being a kind and caring neighbor. We want to see the ways that you are taking care of yourself, your family and your community, so GPB has launched the Be My Neighbor Day campaign!
As we’ve learned from Daniel Tiger, everyone is big enough to do something. Whether it’s helping out at home by taking care of a pet or helping clear the table, or beautifying your neighborhood with chalk art or flowers, there are lots of ways that even the youngest friends can learn kindness, responsibility and empathy.
Share a picture or video with us to show us how you are being a kind and caring neighbor. We’ll be sharing photos and videos on social media and on GPB TV to highlight some of the amazing neighbors around the state.
On Saturday, February 20, our virtual Be My Neighbor Day event will treat Little tigers and their families to clips of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and we’ll share highlights from the campaign.
