EVERYBODY LOVES PIRATES at THE CENTER FOR PUPPETRY ARTS OCT 15-24

Don't miss this hilarious pirate puppet adventure!

I recently had a date with my 5 year old great-nephew, Johnny, to see "Everybody Loves Pirates" at the Center for Puppetry Arts. We both agreed, it was hilarious!!

It's the story of how Lucy (the "brains" in this duo) and her friend Little Chucky find a treasure map and set off on the adventure of a lifetime. Not only do they meet some very unusual characters like the "dude" on his jet ski (Johnny's favorite) and a giant sea monkey, they also find themselves walking the plank at the hands of some very funny pirates! But, have no fear, Lobster Boy saves the day!!

This modern version of a pirate tale, is filled not only with quirky characters and very clever dialog, but also a delightful mix of both traditional swashbuckling pirate songs and contemporary music. One of my favorite scenes was the pirates dancing to "Macho Man" by the Village People!

Don't forget to stop by the Build-A-Puppet workshop to make your own puppet to take home. It's included with your ticket and it's always Johnny's favorite part of the visit!

Johnny and I both give this show a 5 out of 5 stars. It's a not-to-be-missed adventure that’s fun for the whole family! But act quickly.... it's only in Atlanta until next Sunday, October 24th.
