Activities
Each day will consist of a different focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Activities include Astronomy, Nature and Biodiversity, Outdoor Rock Density and Hardness Testing, Geocaching (older students), Solar Heat and Cooking, Nature Tower Building, Stick Forts and Survival Skills, STEM Scavenger Hunt, Diffusion with Watercolor Sun Prints, the Water Cycle in Nature, Buoyancy with Water Balloons, Catapult with Outdoor Materials, and Baking Soda/Vinegar powered boats, Exploding Paint Rockets and Solar System and SLIME!
Camp Session Dates
June 13 - 17 Rising 1st - 3rd grades
June 20 - 24 Rising 4th - 6th grades
Camps Times
9 am-12 pm Monday - Friday
Location
Camps will be held at Windwood Hollow Park in Dunwoody, Georgia. Located at 4865 Lakeside Drive, this park has 11 acres featuring a playground, picnic pavilion, nature trails, and an open meadow. There are bathrooms facilities and water fountains. Campers need to bring a water bottle and snacks each day. Please label everything.
Camp registration
Parents can register online through Google Docs and pay through Paypal to STEM Unite LLC or contact me below. Registration per camper is $200/week. Early registration by April 1st is 10% off. A Sibling discount is available. First come basis. T-shirts are available for an additional cost of $15. Camp is limited to 30 campers.
