Create Dunwoody will host the 5th Annual Latino Hispanic Cultural Celebration on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ashford Lane Lawn, 1220 Ashford Crossing, Dunwoody, GA 30346. The free, family-friendly event will celebrate Latino Hispanic heritage with live performances, cultural displays, and community activities.
The celebration will feature singers Marianella Lopez Dodge, Veronica Gleasson, Corners Outreach, and the Los Niños Primero Choir. Dance performances will include Aklla Sumaq (Peruvian Cultural Association), Los de Ida y Vuelta Flamenco, Aatma Dance Studio, and Pasofino Dance Studio. Guests can also enjoy games with Lisa Torres and a demonstration from the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
Cultural demonstrations and activities will feature face painting, artisan piñatas, handmade crafts, community booths, and cultural exhibits representing Argentina, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, and more.
“The Latino Hispanic Cultural Celebration has become an annual Dunwoody tradition,” said Rosemary Watts, Executive Director of Create Dunwoody. “It brings neighbors together to experience the richness of Latino Hispanic heritage through music, dance, and cultural connection.”
This event is presented by Create Dunwoody with support from community partners and sponsors, including the City of Dunwoody and Humana.
