Create Dunwoody and the Dunwoody Village Merchant Alliance announce the return of the 2025 Village Holiday Celebration and Lantern Parade on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. throughout the Greater Dunwoody Village Area. The free community event features live performances, family-friendly activities, and the ceremonial Tree and Snowflake Lighting.
“The Village Holiday Celebration brings neighbors, merchants, and visitors together in the heart of our city,” said Rosemary Watts, Executive Director of Create Dunwoody. “By extending into the Shops of Dunwoody this year, families will find more space, more activities, and shorter lines.”

Activities
Hands-on fun will take place throughout Dunwoody Village, Dunwoody Plaza, and the Shops of Dunwoody, including face painting, letters to Santa, balloon art, cookie, ornament, and lantern decorating, caricatures, s’mores, hot apple cider and hot chocolate, Chanukah crafts and latkes, open gym and music play, plus the Little Red Barn miniature animal farm and a mini artisan market at the Shops of Dunwoody.

Lantern Kits and Prizes
Lantern kits will be available in advance at Ace Hardware and Judy and Grace Boutique. Kits and decorating will also be available at the event. Best Lantern prizes include bundled gift cards from NFA Burger, Village Burger, Smoothie King, Ace Hardware, Vintage Pizzeria, Village Threads, Judy and Grace Boutique, Good Vibes, Lazy Dog, Aqua-Tots, and additional local businesses.
