Description
Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at Wills Park on July 4! The event begins at 6PM, culminating in the City of Alpharetta’s annual fireworks extravaganza at dusk.
Musical entertainment throughout the park, with three DJ’s providing a variety of tunes to dance the night away.
Located throughout the park, food vendors will serve festive fare until 10PM, including classics like barbeque, hot dogs, and hamburgers, as well as Mediterranean-style dishes, wood-fired pizza, and tacos. Old fashioned lemonade, Italian ice, snowballs and ice cream will also be available.
Here is important information to keep in mind for your July 4th event plans at Wills Park:
Accessible parking available near Wacky World Playground. Old Milton Parkway between Highway 9 and Wills Road will close when parking lots are full.
Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited in the park per City ordinance.
Pets must be on leashes or in a crate.
Charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Small propane grills are allowed with a permit. To obtain a permit, call 678-297-6123.
Food vendors accept cash only and will be located by baseball fields 7 & 8, Wacky World area, and an open field near the equestrian center. NOTE: No food vendors or entertainment will be located on the Event Lawn behind the Alpharetta Community Center.
To ensure the safety of the large crowd attending, the City discourages use of personal fireworks in the park during this event.
