Description
We hope you join us for the annual 4th of July fireworks celebration. As always, the celebration will be held at the Carrollton City Schools Complex. Come out and watch while practicing social distancing or tune-in to B92 FM and enjoy from your home or car.
CPD's 4th of July Fireworks traffic plan:
- All streets leading to the event will be open up until the beginning of the fireworks display
- Once they begin, the "curve" on Ben Scott Blvd will be blocked and there will be no thru traffic
- At the conclusion of the fireworks display, all vehicles on the "stadium side" will be limited to one-way travel to exit on the north side of campus. These streets will include: Wedgewood Drive, Trojan Drive, and Oak Avenue. All vehicles on the "tennis courts side" will be limited to one way travel to exit on the south side of campus. These streets will include: Tom Reeve Drive which leads to Hays Mill and Ben Scott Boulevard which leads to Hwy 166 Bypass.
- Police officers will be directing motorists and controlling the flow of traffic at the intersection of Ben Scott Blvd/Hwy 166 Bypass as well as the intersection of Hays Mill Road/Hwy 166 Bypass until traffic is cleared from the area.
