Here is a list I have compiled of some companies that reward students for getting good grades on their report cards. If you know of others, please add them in the comment section.  Some of these may be at participating locations only, so I highly recommend that you call ahead to ensure that your particular store is offering these freebies.

Applebees: Get a free kids meal for straight A's

Baskin-Robbins: Get a free scoop of ice cream for good grades on your report card!

Wendy'sA report card with A's and B's earns a delicious treat.  Be sure to show the cashier your report card before ordering.

Do you know of any other good student/good report card freebies?

Good grades are great, but the rewarding effort can be great reinforcement, too! A few businesses also offer rewards for reading for fun or school.

Barnes & Noble: Summer Reading Program where kids can earn free books. Details are released in late spring each year. While you’re there, be sure to enroll in their Kid’s Club rewards program for discounts, rewards, and a free birthday cupcake!

Six Flags’Read to Succeed Program begins in the fall and is open to teachers, schools, and homeschoolers. Kids who complete 6 hours of recreational reading are eligible for a free ticket to Six Flags. A great way to remind kids that all that reading pays off in unexpected ways!
