My family has lived in Atlanta for a little over 5 years. One of our favorite places is Stone Mountain Park. We try to go a few times a year, because it is good wholesome family time fun. We were given complimentary tickets to Stone Mountain Christmas. As always, my opinions are my own.
One of my favorite things about being a macaroni kid publisher, is that we get invited to events before they open to the public. This way we (as media) get a chance to experience venues without all of the crowds.
Last week we had a chance to go to Stone Mountain. After eating a delicious dinner at the Camp Fire Grill, we witnessed the Parade. We danced with characters and of course saw the Jolly Old Man and the beautiful Mrs. Claus.
We then went to see St. Nick. We went to Stone Mountain on my daughter’s actual birthday. Santa knew it was her birthday. Here Santa gave her a present and had a long conversation with her about being 8 years old. He then stood up and gave her a birthday present filled with a “Frozen” coloring book. Look at her shirt. She was in heaven!!
After we left Santa, we went over to the Christmas Carol. My kids insist we see it every year and it never gets old! Then we went to the new show – The Littlest Christmas Tree. It was a heartwarming story about finding your inner worth. Definitely a great show for the little kids!
After the two shows, we went to the Snow Angel Palace, where we saw the Snow Angel and her soldiers. The Snow Angel is beautiful and majestic.
Afterwards we decorated cookies and got funnel cake.
Finally, we saw the Snow Angel® Snowfall and Fireworks Finale My kids love hearing the Angel tell the story and have “Snow” appear.

This is one holiday event in Atlanta that you shouldn’t miss!
