Let your young artist create and express themselves through ART! Art & Beyond offers weekly themed summer arts & crafts camps for children ages 6-9 and ages 10-14. Half and Full day sessions.
Camps for Ages 6-9
Each week there is a different theme which guides the art projects. Campers will create a variety of artworks including but not limited to drawings, paintings, clay, sculpture, printmaking and collage. Each Friday will culminate into a mini art show showcasing the art created that week at camp. Professional Teachers. Supplies & T-Shirt Included.

Let’s Get Moving! – May 31 – June 3 Let’s Go! Thomas and his many train friends are out of the station, passing planes high in the sky, boats in the harbor, and cars along the way. Make art that moves and get ready for a week filled with things that take us places.
Superheroes & Supersisters – June 6-10 Calling all Superheroes & sisters…dust off your capes and sharpen those super powers! We’ll unleash our imaginations and transform ourselves into superheroes sculpting inventive gadgets, colorful costumes, and other super creations.

Globetrotters – June 6-10 Globetrotters – Travel the World near, far and out in space! The world’s top travel destinations will be our inspiration as we paint global-scapes, build our favorite animals and creatures, and sculpt rocket ships.
Cartoons & Comics – June 13-17 Jump into a week filled with your favorite cartoon characters. Design your own characters for your own personal comic book, learn to draw Japanese Anime and Manga, sculpt your own figure while learning how to draw emotion, action and backgrounds for their characters.
Sparkle, Glitter & Glitz at Atlanta Academy – June 13-17 Enter the enchanted world of mysterious kingdoms, royal balls and magical fairy dust. We will create magic slippers, fairy wands, and creatures of enchanted forests and fairylands.

Animal Kingdom – June 20-24 Have you ever wondered what happens in the forest and tropical forest at night? This week we’ll explore the animals found outside the zoo while we paint a giraffe, collage a tree frog, make a scary mask, and sculpt a python.
All things 3-D! June 27-July 1 This week we will explore all things sculpture using clay, model magic, wood and more as we build from our imagination and the world we live in.
Secrets beneath the Sea – July 5-8 Let the world below the sea be your inspiration as you explore the world beneath the waves. Paint seascapes, create fantasy sea creatures, decorate shells, build Mermaids, and explore sunken treasures found beneath the sea.
Inventor’s Workshop – July 5-8 Put on your creativity cap and prepare to explore art and science as we explore inventions using paint, clay and more. Learn about Leonardo Da Vinci’s inventions and make a paper flying machine, invent a new toy, shrink plastic into art, discover the physics of Calder’s Mobiles and design a mini robot.
World of Fantasy – July 11-15 Each day we will be inspired by our favorite fantasy worlds – including some you may not know! Our projects will be inspired by Hobbit’s Middle Earth, Hogwarts & Harry Potter, Island of Berk, Narnia and more. Activities will include clay, painting, drawing and so much more!
Project Runway – July 18-22 Calling all fashion designers! Join us as we explore the process of researching, designing and creating our own fashion designs and accessories.
World of Fantasy at the Atlanta Academy – July 18-22 Each day we will be inspired by our favorite fantasy worlds – including some you may not know! Our projects will be inspired by Hobbit’s Middle Earth, Hogwarts & Harry Potter, Island of Berk, Narnia and more. Activities will include clay, painting, drawing and so much more!
Doodles & Zentangles – July 18-22 Our doodle & zentangle camp will inspire you with great ideas, easy techniques, and projects that will show how far you can transform simple doodling using pencil, and color pencil. Later, we will move on to paper-based projects, including a graceful mandala, a doodle landscape, and a collaging.
Go Big! - July 25-29 This week we will master drawing and painting in large scale. Remember, “the bigger, the better” as we create “Double me Portraits,” draw our favorite movie and character posters, and create our own billboard or banner.
Pop Art – August 1-5 This week we’ll explore the bright, bold colors and fun designs of Pop Art. We’ll explore the works of Andy Warhol, Wayne Thiebaud and Roy Lichtenstein to name a few. Painting, printing, and sculpture are just a few of the ways we’ll learn about this awesome art period!
Artcade – August 1-5 Explore the art in video games as we draw, paint and construct our favorite video game characters from Angry Birds to Disney, Lego to Pokemon, and, of course, Minecraft!
Camps for Ages 10-14 Art & Beyond Specialty camp provides high-quality enrichment experiences in the visual arts for older children and teens. Classes are taught by professional artists who design fun, challenging and educational projects. Campers will create a variety of artworks including but not limited to drawings, mixed media, paintings, sculpture, printmaking and collage. Older Age group sessions available in afternoon sessions only and are 3½-hours long.
Fantasy Art – May 31-June 3 Fantasy Art – from Dr. Who to Comic Con – paint & draw your way through the week exploring all aspects of fantasy art.

Figures & Faces – July 11-15 Figures & Faces – all about line drawing techniques to draw human and animal faces and their bodies.
Sculpture at the Atlanta Academy – July 25-29 Come Explore the three dimension World of Art! Take home beautiful sculptures of animals, cities, memories of the beach, and much more! We’ll be using air clay, model magic, wood, plastics and other trinkets and mediums to build reliefs, sculptures, and dimensional art projects.

Ages 6-9 Morning or Afternoon Session: $200.00 per artist
Ages 6-9 Full Day (9 AM – 4:30 PM): $350.00 per artist
Full Day sessions only available for Ages 6-9 on weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10
