Bring the family, give food and have fun all for a good cause at the Community Assistance Center's Fourth Annual Food 'n Fun Festival. Neighbors from all walks of life will come together to raise awareness, funds and food to stamp out hunger and homelessness in our community.
This fun-filled, outdoor, family event with activities and games for children and adults of all ages, and will be on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Springs Charter High School. Admission is free! Please bring a can or more for the CAC Food Pantry.
Everyone can participate in the ¼ mile hunger awareness walk around the track led by the Shopping Cart Parade. Check out the creative shopping carts decorated by teams competing for the Most Creative, Most Humorous and Funniest awards. Food Challenge food drive contest winners will also be announced.
Festival games and activities include a cake walk, bounce house, inflatable slide, balloon blast, ring toss, food bingo, arts and crafts, face painting, DJ music, dancing and more. Activities are free to the public and carnival food will be available for purchase.
Patrons are asked to bring food donations for CAC's food pantry. Proceeds from the event will benefit CAC, and provide for local families seeking assistance during the summer months when the pantry often runs low on food.
CAC helps neighbors in need in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody with the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter and promotes self-reliance.
