"THE WIZARD OF OZ is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic. Developed from the ever popular MGM screenplay which is currently celebrating its 75th Anniversary, this new production contains the beloved Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg songs from the Oscar-winning movie score, all the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus new songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber."
The Wizard of Oz starts just as it does in the movie.  With a problem at the Farm with a generator and Mrs.Gulch is always complaining about Toto.   Dorothy feels like she is not loved or Appreciated and runs away.   She meets Professor Marvel.   The Professor shows Dorothy his Magical wagon.   Then a storm starts to brew and he encourages Dorothy to go home.   Unfortunately, the tornado hits before Dorothy can get into the storm cellar.  From there Dorothy is whisked into a magical world called Oz.   Her trip of a lifetime begins.
Wizard of Oz
What makes this production unique is the mixture of the production and the recorded scenes.   Also the magic that appears before your eyes. Glinda the good witch flies down from the sky from nowhere.   Glinda and Elphaba disappear just as quickly as they appear.   The sets seem like they are rotating.   The colors of the sets appear out of dream.

You will hear all of your favorite songs and some new ones too.   The favorite scenes are still there.
Wizard of Oz
My daughter (8) loved every single second of it.  From the songs, to amazing scenery, to the unbelievable well-trained Toto.  She wanted more.
