While it seems everyone in Atlanta has been talking about the weather this season, there honestly hasn't been much to say about it that's been really positive. But you'll definitely be talking about how much fun the brand new puppet show, "Weather Rocks!" is at the Center for Puppetry Arts

I love a show that is upbeat, interactive and makes both myself and my mini Macaroni want to get up, sing and dance. Weather Rocks!, which plays through March 23 at Center for Puppetry Arts, has all of those elements. Plus, the show sneaks in lots of learning without your little ones even realizing it.

With the help of a live musician on stage, the show fuses lots of different music styles into the show. From gospel and R&B to a little bit of rock and roll, and country, every weather element is explored through song, dance, storytelling and of course cool puppets!

Some of Mother Nature's weather events explored include hurricanes, tornadoes, rain, and snow. My personal favorite was the gospel number, performed by Jared Brodie, about clouds. My daughter and I were bobbing our heads and clapping to the beat.

The barometer is definitely rising on this show. So to find out for yourself why weather rocks, be sure to put this show in your family's forecast. It's recommended for ages four and up, and show times are:
•Tues-Fri: 10am & 11:30am
•Sat: 12pm & 2pm
•Sun: 1pm & 3pm

Don't forget to hold onto your ticket stub, because as with all of CPA's family performances, you can head upstairs to the Create-A-Puppet Workshop, and this time make your own Shining Sun Hand Puppet!
