Last week, I got to experience the Grand Opening of the Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, 4000 Summit Boulevard Atlanta, GA 30319.  I heard from a lot of friends that the Villa Christina was a beautiful wedding hall.   I also knew about the Jazz weekends they do every year.   But I had never been to either before.

You first drive down Summit Boulevard which is clearly a street filled with businesses.   However once you walk in the doors you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of the street outside.

After you walk into the foyer, you see a guest area (filled with a bar to the right) but your eyes are going to be focused on the grounds outside.

Once you get to the reception desk, where there is fruit filled water canisters for the exhausted traveler, you are brought to your room.   Please do not forget to look up at the chandeliers.   None of the chandeliers are the same, but they all go together beautifully.

The Hyatt spared no expense in the rooms.   There are high end amenities, like a Keurig, name brand toiletries, linens (100% Cotton, 300 Thread Count), beautiful tiled large showers in King rooms, tub/shower in Queen/Queen rooms.   KenetMD  amenities,  Laptop safes, Mini fridge, and of course a robe (available for purchase $75).

What makes this hotel different, is the Roof top pool.   Once you are upstairs swimming in the tranquil pool, you forget you are minutes away from Sandy Springs Dunwoody or 285.  You hear nothing, but children’s laughter swimming in the pool.    There is plenty of room for the family and the business traveler just to relax in the pool.     There is no life guard on duty.  equipment.   There are on site spa rooms as well.

Currently, I am in the process of looking for a reception space for my 2 older children’s B’nai Mitzvah.  (I don’t have a date yet).    My older kids are 15 months and 4 days apart, and they are NOT happy about sharing their special day together.  But I digress, let me get back to the point.   There are many rooms at the Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina that would work for a wedding, Bar / Bat/ B’nai Mitzvah, Christening, etc.  Whether you have 50 to 300 guests the Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina can accommodate.

Now let’s talk about the food.  There was a sampling of what the Executive Chef Andreas Georgakopoulos can do.   Chef Georgakopoulos had an amazing shrimp n grits, chicken and waffles, flat iron steak with chimminchaga sauce, seafood tartar, to name a few.  But the pastry chef outdid herself.   I was really trying hard to stay away from all the yummies.   I did have a bite of a few.  There are no words, but heaven.
