The Schiff Preschool of Temple Emanu-El provides a creative and nurturing environment where children feel safe to try new things and discover their own potential and to explore decision making and problem solving. Our curriculum is based on the understanding that children learn best by doing. Playing is how your child learns. We offer challenges just beyond the level of present mastery, providing opportunities to learn and practice newly acquired skills while recognizing individual variations. During the day children will learn these skills through music, movement yoga and Judaics class.

In addition, we value and incorporate the infinite number of ideas each experienced teacher brings to the classroom.  Our degreed teachers are as unique as our students. We encourage collaborative thinking and planning amongst our staff to create a truly individualized early childhood program.

The fun doesn’t end at 1:30 pm.  In addition to an enriching aftercare program, your child has the opportunity to experience extracurricular activities through tennis, ballet, karate, gymnastics and Spanish class. 

The Schiff Preschool of Temple Emanu-El l is proud to be a participating school recipient of the ALEF Fund. As an ALEF Fund recipient, we are able to offer scholarships to qualifying families with students in our Pre-K and Kindergarten Prep programs. 

The Schiff Preschool of Temple Emanu-El is fully licensed and accredited and offers programs for children 6 weeks – 5 years old. Children may attend 2 to 5 days per week. Our core program is from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm with full day options from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Infant Room at The Schiff Preschool of Temple Emanu-El

Year-round | Ages 6 weeks – 12 Months | 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

NEW! -- Introducing the Infant Room at The Schiff Preschool of Temple Emanu-El. Our infant room provides a cheerful, safe, loving and healthy environment for your baby from 6 weeks to 12 months. Smiling teachers interact with your children, provide age-appropriate play, music, reading and movement, take care to ensure proper naps and feedings. There is constant communication between home and school through messaging, calling and daily reports. 

 

Flexible scheduling is available and can be tailored to meet the needs of each family. Most children attend full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.
