Last week I was invited to new Pollo Tropical restaurant located at 5815 State Bridge Road, Johns Creek. I was given lunch and dinner for my family in exchange for this review. My opinions are my own though.
My girlfriend has always talked about how she loved Pollo Tropical. Her son, who is one of my son’s BFF’s is extremely picky and this is his favorite restaurant. So a few months ago, I made my family go to Pollo Tropical for lunch. I haven’t stopped going.
I love the fact that it is Healthy, fast food. The meals are made with real ingredients. You can see them grill the chicken in front of you.
I usually get the TropiChop. You pick your protein (chicken, Calypso Beef, Mojo Roast Pork, vegetarian, or shrimp) then add the base (all different types of rice), and finally add the vegetables and beans. Finally you add the sauce. I can drink the Cilantro Garlic and Curry Mustard.
After persuasion I got the trio. That is ¼ Chicken Platter with your choice of Mojo Roast Pork, Grilled Pork Loin*, Caribbean Ribs*, Calypso Beef* or Grilled Wings, and any two sides. I LOVED the Beef. It was so flavorful. I got the Caribbean Corn Soufflé. Their were no words to describe the deliciousness. I also got the green beans. So Good!
There was so many thing I wanted to try, I will admit two days later I went back to Pollo Tropical
