When I was a kid, we would get in line to see Santa and then sit on his lap. North Point Mall has changed this.
From North Point Mall Adventure to Santa, a "DreamWorks Dream Place embodying a captivating and interactive Santa adventure for the entire family. DreamWorks Animation, the global family entertainment brand known for award-winning storytelling and industry leading innovation, has once again chosen North Point Mall as one of the premier locations around the world during the 2015 holiday season to feature this experience. Once again, the magical journey of Adventure to Santa starts with Shrek, ends with Santa, and features a 2,000-square-foot immersive experience to be enjoyed by family members of all ages. New features this year include two new app games, Sleigh Flight School and Gingy's Cookie Maker and three additional exterior skins, the Painted Lady, Candy Cottage and Enchanted Log Cabin. At the top of the hour, the cottage will perform a newly designed light show that cues a different exterior skin for each hour".
You first wait in line. Sorry, this is no way around this part. And you meet Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey. Time for a picture!! You then are invited by an Elf into beautiful, majestic cabin.

You enter a room, and the phone rings it is Shrek and Donkey. They want to go to the North Pole, but there is a problem. And you (your child) has to fly the sleigh. But do you know how to fly a sleigh? No, me either.
So off you go to Flight School. Here in the next room you go to a flight simulator (iPad) and learn how to navigate.
After you graduate from flight school, you go and fly your own sleigh. In this room there is a 4D experience filled with “flying”, “snow”, and cold air.
After you land in the North Pole, you go into one more room where you can make a Gingy Ornament. You wait till you are called and you get to meet the big man.

I do want to thank North Point Mall and Adventure to Santa. My youngest birthday was the week we went and North Point Mall, Santa, and his elves made it extra special for her. They kept referring to her as the birthday girl and were so excited to meet her.
