Ingredients for Cake:
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup butter (melted)
2 eggs
5 Tablespoons milk
4 bananas (mashed)
Ingredients for Topping:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2/3 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
1. Mix cake ingredients in order listed. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Mix the topping together and spoon over the batter.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Topping will form bubbles on top, but will soak in as the cake cools.
3. This is a great coffee cake for parties, coffee with friends, or just to share with your family!
