Something Sweet for Dad

June 3, 2016
This Father’s Day, you and your kids can surprise the dads in your life by giving them a surprise breakfast - with your own personal touch. To get started, I visit Pinterest for some gifting inspiration. One of my favorite Pinterest pages is Give Bakery Because – it has so many cute ideas for gifting baked goods. My daughter loves to look with me before we decide on a project. This year we wanted to make shirt and tie themed placemats - perfect for our surprise breakfast for Daddy.

While my husband loves baked goods, I don’t want to spend all morning baking and cleaning with my daughter - we want to enjoy the day all together! Thankfully, I’ve discovered an easy trick to surprising Daddy without much fuss. It’s all thanks to the bakery department at my local grocery store. They have so many different kinds of decadent goodies you can customize for dads. We went with muffins because they are my husband’s favorite, but really anything in the in-store bakery would work such as cinnamon rolls, croissants, breads. Check out our trip to the store and fun project!

There’s nothing better than having your kids create an adorable craft for their dads with baked goods in just few minutes - with little clean up!
