Fall is officially here and apples are in season! Some of you may have gone apple picking and might be wondering what to make with all those apples! It can work with any type of apples! Get the kids involved with using an apple corer to slice the apples, if you think they can handle that task, or maybe have them form the cream cheese ball!
Ingredients:
Apples (4 or 5) - sliced
Dip:
1 bar softened cream cheese
1 bag of crushed toffee pieces (should be in the baking section of your grocery store)
1 tub of caramel

Instructions:
1. Mix the toffee pieces into the cream cheese and form into a ball in the center of a platter. Pour the caramel over the top of the ball and spread the apple slices around.
2. Depending on the size of the crowd, you may want to add another bar of cream cheese. You can always add the toffee pieces to your liking.
* Please note that I have tried this recipe using lighter versions of cream cheese and caramel but it did not taste as good!
