Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

By Jennifer Hill December 8, 2016
An all-time favorite soup made simple with your slow cooker.

What you need:
3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
4 chicken bouillon extra large cubes
16 oz. egg noodles
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. onion powder
8 cups water
Optional: carrots, celery, can of corn (drained) or any other vegetables you'd like.

What you do:
First off, I always use a slow cooker liner to make clean up SO easy. Then add ALL ingredients EXCEPT NOODLES. If you are adding raw veggies, cut into 1- to 2-inch pieces. Cook on low for 6 hours.

You have two options for the noodles. I like to control what time dinner will be ready, so I prefer to boil them separately on the stove top and then add to the soup in the slow cooker when they are done. If you prefer to cook them in the slow cooker, add them about an hour before you'd like to eat.

Serve when ready.
