Stuffed French Bread

Easy 30-Minute Meal

Need a quick meal idea with just a few simple ingredients? Try our Stuffed French Bread recipe! Sure to please the entire family and not take all night to cook!

Ingredients:

  • French Bread Loaf
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Small onion, diced (or onion powder to taste)
  • Shredded cheese
  • Butter
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and parsley)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown the meat and season it to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and parsley. Set aside to cool.
  3. While the meat is cooling, cut the top of the bread as if you are making a boat or bowl.
  4. Brush melted butter inside of the bowl and add a bit of cheese.
  5. Fill the bowl by making layers of meat and cheese.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and put the bread top in place.
  7. Brush the loaf with melted butter and sprinkle it with garlic powder.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Recipe variations can include chicken thighs and spaghetti sauce, ham and cheese (maybe some eggs too!), you name it!
