La Dee Da is a creative art and play studio located in Sandy Springs. Set in a whimsical setting with fun creative spaces for children, they help encourage curiosity and imagination! La Dee Da specializes in spectacular custom birthday parties for children of all ages and offers unique specialty art camps for children ages 3 year – 12 years old.
Director, Sugandha Rosenhaft explains La Dee Da’s philosophy to be quite simple, to engage, inspire and teach art with age-appropriate techniques and subjects. All of La Dee Da’s activities and lessons are developed to be age appropriate and encourage independence. As young artists realize their successes, they become more willing to try out new ideas and become more self-assured. The process of expressing artistic vision helps build self-esteem.
La Dee Da’s Specialty Arts Summer Day camps have been designed to be an adjunct filled to other traditional camps you might be sending your child to. They are passionate about creating a space for children to experience art in a positive, encouraging and engaging environment. Art camps are not just about coloring pages and construction paper crafts. Going into its 4th season of Summer Camps, La Dee Da is offering 17 different camp themes that have been carefully designed and planned to appeal to elementary aged children. Their camps provide children a wonderful introduction to several forms of visual and creative art. Taught by real art instructors in a fun creative environment, your child will beam for weeks about their awesome adventures at La Dee Da while the confidence and creative skills they develop will last a lifetime!
Sugandha further explains, “During a specialty, we focus on full immersion of the particular theme that is being offered. From sewing to textiles & printmaking to woodworking there are several summer camp options to choose from. We believe in quality over quantity and process over product. Our private creative camps provide an intimate group setting where your child can learn and grow based on his/her own needs.”
