Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!
"Mew! Mew! Mew! Mew!"
A good Samaritan heard this sound for days: a kitten crying at the top of his lungs. Stuck deep in a storm drain with rain on the horizon, this little guy needed help!
Planned PEThood volunteers and neighbors sprang into action. They wrestled off the manhole cover and lowered a humane trap into the drain--and very soon, they hauled up a scared, starving orange-and-white kitten. Appropriately, they named him Storm.
This little survivor can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly into purring lovebug once he gets to know you. He gets along well with the other kitten and his foster home and would likely do well with other pets in his forever home.
Storm is 3-4 months old. He's neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia and FIV. His adoption fee is $120.
To meet Storm, please contact his foster, June, at 770-676-1534.
He is available for adoption through Planned PEThood of Georgia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization in Duluth.
