I was recently invited to Battle & Brew for the purpose of a review. My opinions as always are my own.
Battle & Brew, Atlanta’s premier gaming venue, has geek culture, from the top-of-the-line computer, console, and board games to cosplay parties and trivia, in addition to game-themed food, funky cocktails, and 100+ craft beers and ciders.

When you walk in, Battle & Brew is like any other restaurant. However, as you turn the corner you are greeted by a gamers paradise. There are 13 TV gaming stations with couches for groups; over 35 screens showcasing the latest streamers on Twitch.tv, Mixer and YouTube; 7 duo gaming stations; 16 PC stations; a virtual reality (VR) rig; and more. For something more private, there is also a VIP Steampunk lounge that features every modern gaming system as well as a VR setup and cozy couches where gamers can wear out their thumbs. In addition to the computer and console games, there are over 125 board games and 1 giant Jenga.
Before you even sit down, the host or hostess will walk you ar0ound and show you everything that Battle & Brew has to offer. Then once you get settled, they will make sure you the gamer is familiar and comfortable on the console/game of your choice.
The restaurant has a modern menu with elevated pub fare, including burgers and stir fry, as well as such signature dishes as an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (with multiple types of cheese -- and bacon), a Triforce Burrito (seasoned ground beef, chicken, and chorizo), Ancho Ranch Dandy Sandwich (a homage to” Macho Man” Randy Savage), Dragons Nest (think fancy chicken tenders served on a house-made waffle, with chili maple syrup).
We were treated for Brunch. I got the TriForce Breakfast Burrito (Scrambled Eggs, Chorizo, Chicken, Beef, Cheddar, and Tater Tots) It came with Jalapenos which I am not a fan and it was customizable. It also came with a side. My daughter ordered off the children’s menu, and got these gigantic waffles! My girlfriend ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, and she said they sang to her.

The full-service bar features premium craft drinks with over 100 tap and bottled craft beers and ciders. My husband is VERY excited about the extraordinary beer menu.
The bar also serves classic cocktails and not so classics featuring whimsical, themed names like Pi (think an apple pie in a glass) and Rainbow Dash (a colorful, cotton candy topped mixed drink).
As the pioneer of Geek Trivia in Atlanta, Battle & Brew averages 25 teams every Wednesday. It also offers monthly Super Smash Bros. tournaments, weekly Magic: The Gathering drafts, and a spectrum of themed cosplay parties from a Star Wars dance party and Onesie night to a Wizard’s New Year and a Game of Thrones night.
