How to BOO Your Neighbors with a "You've Been Booed" Printable

By Gwendolyn Dattage, publisher, St. George Macaroni Kid www.stgeorgeut.macaronikid.com October 21, 2019

I love nothing more than spreading a little kindness during the holidays, and you don't have to wait until Christmas to start.

This year print out our "You've Been Booed!" free printable and spread some Halloween fun in your neighborhood. It is a great family activity, something to do with the kids, or would even make for a fun date night.

How to Boo Your Neighbor

  1. Download and print out the Printable above and make two copies

  2. Make enough treats to deliver to two neighbors

  3. Deliver the treats and a copy of the We've Been Booed sign to 2 different neighbors. It is more fun when it is anonymous, so ring the doorbell, drop the treats, and run!

Now, just because I said "treats" doesn't mean it has to be food. We often will make goodie bags filled with fun toys that kids will enjoy in case of allergies. Last year we did this to some widows in the neighborhood and ended up leaving fun fall candles. If you are boo-ing a neighbor who is older, have your kids draw some pictures to include. There are so many ways to boo a neighbor, so go join the fun or start the tradition in your neighborhood. Have fun with it!
