Invite the Switch Witch Over This Halloween

By Meg Brunson October 29, 2019

The Switch Witch is visiting our household for the first time this Halloween!

Haven't heard of the Switch Witch? This tooth fairy cousin can solve your lingering Halloween candy problem!

We all know kids have one goal on Halloween: to gather a LOT of candy. As parents, we try to help our kids regulate the amount of candy they consume, but then the candy stays around even longer!

This is where the Switch Witch comes in!

Children decide how much candy they think the Switch Witch will want and set it out somewhere in the house for her. Then on Halloween night, after the children have drifted off to sleep, the Switch Witch visits and switches the candy out with a toy!

The Switch Witch can leave the candy to be taken for donation as well. Our local option is Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends care packages to those who bravely serve our nation! A handful of candy is included in each package, and that gives the candy stash a whole new meaning! (Our local Operation Gratitude drop off location is Dentistry With A Difference located at 5548 Chamblee Dunwoody Road Dunwoody, Georgia 30338).
