For celebrating Mom, there’s no better outing than the breathtaking gardens featured during the event, which benefits the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The tour spotlights six private home gardens throughout metro Atlanta, including Buckhead, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and Decatur. Featuring a range of styles and sizes – some professionally designed, others the work of the homeowner – the event will delight both green thumbs and the “garden curious” alike.
Tickets go on sale April 1 for the 36th annual Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour set for Mother’s Day weekend, May 9 – 10.
Tickets for the self-guided tour, held rain or shine each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be on sale at Atlanta Botanical Garden and at select area retailers. They are $28 in advance ($22 for Garden members) and $35 during the event (cash or check only).

The Atlanta Botanical Garden hours are March 10 - October on Tuesday - Sunday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. And from November - March 9 on Tuesday - Sunday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. *Hours may vary due to special events.
