Leanne Holmes, also known as L-Stringz, is a proud Dunwoody High School Alumnae from the class of 2016. At Dunwoody, Leanne served as concertmaster of the orchestra for 2 years, Tri- M Music Honor Society President, and became an assistant orchestra director at Dunwoody Elementary, Peachtree Middle, and Dunwoody High Intermediate orchestras.
With her passion for children, Leanne started teaching private violin lessons as well as pursuing her degree in Music from Hampton University. In addition to this, Leanne (under her business name L-Stringz) spreads her love and passion for music to children by playing popular songs on the violin to show how fun music can be.
This camp is open for all Elementary and Middle School Students of ALL Skill levels, as well as a select number of Intermediate - Advanced High School Students!
The purpose of this camp is not only to develop a musician but an overall leader. This is done by having the students very hands-on and interactive during all lessons. Students are even given opportunities to re-teach lessons to their peers as a good wrap up to what was just taught.
