The local craft brewery has several brews for sale, including its New Wave Radical Blond Ale, an original brew that’s crisp and light, with a hint of semi-sweet fruit flavors. Kaiser’s Chophouse

Kaiser’s Chophouse is the perfect place to treat dad to a delicious dinner. The Sandy Springs steakhouse, led by Chef Peter Kaiser, boasts USDA prime cuts of meat and seafood specialties, including favorites like the barrel cut beef filet, spinalis and prime New York strip, as well as Thai Maine lobster. The restaurant is open Tuesday – Thursday, from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 5:30 – 10:00 p.m. Seating is limited, and reservations are recommended. Menu items rotate to ensure the freshest ingredients are served. Kaiser’s also offers curbside pick up for those who prefer to dine at home.

The Mexican restaurant is known for its specialty mezcal cocktails and dishes that bring out the unique flavor found in Oaxaca, Mexico, such as the mixteco poblano, a pepper stuffed with duck, prawn and cheese. Other menu items include enchiladas rojas with chipotle chicken, enchilada sauce with chile guajillo, sour cream, cotija cheese and avocado and coliflor al josper with cauliflower, piperrada, lemon, chile powder, guajillo oil and pumpkin seeds. Battle and Brew

Treat Dad to a one-of-a-kind evening by taking him to Battle and Brew for good food and fun games. This gaming bar and restaurant offers a stellar menu, premium craft drinks and plenty of games, ranging from board games like Settlers of Catan to video games like Mario Kart. Battle and Brew is currently offering indoor seating and has all games available. Menu items are limited but include an Impossible burger topped with mushrooms, roasted garlic aioli and provolone; the Jolene sandwich, which features Nashville Hot Chicken talons, dill pickles, slaw and Old Bay aioli; and house-made chicken tenders and waffles with a chili maple syrup. The Springs Cinema & Taphouse

Nothing is nicer on a hot Georgia day than cooling off and catching a flick at the movie theater. This locally owned and loved theater has plush recliners and a wide variety of food and drinks to enjoy during your movie. Catch the latest release or revisit an old classic. The theater regularly shows a rotation of much-loved movies from previous decades, including the 1980s classic “The Goonies.” The theatre is currently re-airing different movies in the successful “Harry Potter” Franchise on select nights in June and July. For the safety of patrons, The Springs Cinema & Taphouse is spacing out groups in its screening rooms, allowing two “buffer” seats between each party. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area Trail Units

The city is home to three units of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA), a preserved natural wilderness that lines the shoreline of the Chattahoochee River. In the summer months, several rental facilities along the river offer tubes, kayaks, paddleboards and more for those wanting to shoot the ‘Hooch. Whether exploring on foot or by water, there’s an adventure for every dad when exploring these unique CRNRA spots.
