Children’s Museum of Atlanta extends TiNY Teams, through Nov. 11

By Children’s Museum of Atlanta October 19, 2020

Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s drop-off pod program for kids pre-K and Kindergarten students will extend an additional four-weeks, from October 21 through November 11. TiNY Teams activities include storytime, hands-on science and creative projects will be conducted each week, giving kids a fun, play-based learning experience that covers topics such as arts, science and literature.

During each two-and-a-half-hour session, Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be placed in small pods of five or less with an assigned play-facilitator to allow for social distancing. Children will remain in the same team/pod each week with the same Museum play-facilitator. Handwashing, temperature checks and approved health protocols from the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta will be in place to ensure safety for all participants. Parents will receive electronic notifications with pictures and details about the session’s events each week and may request their child be placed in a pod with friends.

Two-and-a-half hour sessions available at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each Wednesday

  • Oct. 21:  Seasons/Harvest
  • Oct. 28:  Color Your World
  • Nov. 4:  Music & Sound
  • Nov. 11:  Space
