It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!
December is finally here - our favorite time of year! We are so excited to share our recent visit to Holiday Road in Fairburn, GA with you. This is a new light display offering that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough for everyone to enjoy! It was only about an hour's drive from Brookhaven and we had a blast. We bundled up with our hats and light-up necklaces ready to soak up everything that twinkles and sparkles to festive holiday tunes!

Holiday Road is a half-mile immersive walking trail through The Horse Mansion @ Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, GA. The holiday displays are beautifully illuminated with themes from the North Pole, an Elf Village, Gingerbread Lane, Light Tunnels, a 10-foot Menorah, Christmas Tree Forests, and more. Your family will be singing and dancing to holiday classics, eating from the best local food truck vendors, enjoying seasonal cocktails, taking photos, and making so many fun memories as they stroll down Holiday Road! There's also a souvenir shop to purchase light-up necklaces, wands, and more!
Purchase your tickets online in advance, along with your parking pass ($4.99). There is plenty of parking and attendees to guide you towards the entrance. Check-in with the QR code from my e-tickets on my mobile phone was quick and easy. There is a security check-point before entering where they will check all bags. Holiday Road is a self-guided walking trail with different terrains (grass, gravel, dirt, and asphalt pavement) and slight elevation changes. The trail is ADA accessible. There are multiple restrooms (portable toilets) available onsite. Bundle up and wear comfortable walking shoes, and don't forget a stroller for the little ones.
We spent about an hour and a half enjoying strolling and taking photos of all the wonderful displays, photo stations, and brilliant holiday scenes. It was a delightful evening with family and friends! My daughter kept warm drinking hot cocoa and running through the multicolored tunnels with her friend. There were also displays and music representing different religions and cultures, such as Hannukah, Kwanza, and a nativity scene. Everyone is welcome! Come and join the cheerful festivities at Holiday Road.
