GIVEAWAY: Lemonade Days Festival at Brookrun Park April 23-27, 2025

April 15, 2025

Dunwoody Preservation Trust (DPT) announces its 25th annual Lemonade Days Festival to be held April 23- 27, 2025 at the City of Dunwoody’s Brook Run Park. DPT will celebrate the silver anniversary of this popular Dunwoody festival featuring full-scale carnival rides and fabulous food-and-beverage options, with commemorative additions and the return of the 5K Fun Run on April 26th at 8am.
"We are unbelievably excited to be working with Dunwoody Preservation Trust to bring back The Lemonade Days 5K” states Junction 311 Endurance Sports Race Director Jason Stine. “With a race of this caliber, we at Junction 311 Endurance Sports were honored to be asked to get the race running again and look forward to making it a huge success this year and for years to come.
A Peachtree Road Race qualifier, producer Junction 311 Endurance Sports presents a race for the entire family. Awards will be given to the overall winners and age group winners, and all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.” For more information and to register for the Saturday, April 26th, 8 am race go to https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/Atlanta/LemonadeDaysK.

Other additions to commemorate the 25th anniversary include the introduction of a Chalk Art Station where budding artists can leave their mark and Lemonade Days’ legacy lanyards. Available at the festival information booth, children who attend with parents who grew up with the festival are legacies and may receive a commemorative legacy lanyard.
Weekend events include pony rides and a petting zoo, and throughout the week, pictures can be snapped at the Lemonade Days Stand with this year’s Honorary Lemonade Days Queen.

Wristbands for unlimited rides are available for $20 on Family Night (Wednesday) and $30 (Thursday – Sunday). Single tickets may be purchased for $1.25 and $25 for a sheet of 25 tickets. Brook Run Park is located at 4770 North Peachtree Road in Dunwoody, Georgia 30338.
The Lemonade Days festival began in 1999 as a relief effort for those families affected by the 1998 tornado that destroyed entire Dunwoody neighborhoods. With the idea of “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” that beginning has expanded to five days of festival fun and a Dunwoody Signature Event with something for everyone that has historically
attracted more than 60,000 festivalgoers.
The Lemonade Days Festival is the biggest fundraiser of the DPT, with the profits going to educational programming for children and adults, community events, as well as the continued rehabilitation and maintenance of some of Dunwoody’s historic homes and cemeteries including the 1870 Donaldson-Bannister Farm (a partnership of the DPT and the City of Dunwoody) and the 1906 Cheek-Spruill House.
