Description
Known as the “Festival of Lights,” this eight-day Jewish holiday celebrates the fundamental rights of religious freedom. Hanukkah lasts for eight days in December, when the days are shortest and nights are darkest, and is observed by lighting one candle of the nine-branched Menorah each night.
