Description
The July 4th Holiday is more than just Fireworks. In Peachtree City, it is a huge celebration. The 4th of July parade begins at 9 am on the southern end of Peachtree Parkway. Floats, bands, acrobats, and plenty of candy and giveaways will fill the sides of the streets with spectators. The parade route travels NORTH on Peachtree Parkway and ends at the McIntosh Trail Complex approximately 2 hours later. Prizes are also awarded to the best-decorated golf cart.
Later in the day, there is a large outdoor festival called Fourth Fest with music, food, and games at City Hall Plaza. Entertainment is free. The fourth Fest is a new addition to the full day of family fun in Peachtree City. It’s a great event to gather at while waiting for the fireworks to begin. Bring a lawn chair for an even better experience.
